LITTER PICKER (PART TIME)

 

SALARY RANGE GRADE 2 SCP 10 – 11 (17,219.64-18,307.98 pro rata)

 

Hedge End Town Council are looking for 2 part time conscientious Litter Pickers, initially this will be for 3.5 hours each day over the weekend either a Saturday or Sunday.  The role requires someone who can work across several sites in Hedge End keeping parks and open spaces tidy and free of litter and to assist with any other tasks that may be required.

 

To be successful in this role you should have:

  • a full UK Driving Licence
  • excellent time keeping
  • an ability to work in an organized and methodical manner 
  • a clean and smart appearance and be able to represent the Town Council when dealing with members of the public.  

Ideally you would be able to start immediately following receipt of suitable references.

SALARY GRADE 4, SCP 15-20 (£20,041.86-£22,951.25

 

Hedge End Town Council are looking for a full time conscientious, Horticultural Grounds Person, 37 hours per week for care and maintenance of grounds and sports pitches, premises, and the preparation of graves with use of an excavator. Experience of operating horticultural machinery including ride-on and pedestrian mowers, tractors is required. A recognised chainsaw qualification would be preferred along with experience of using a flail. Ideally the person would have an excavator licence or be willing to obtain this as part of the role. Qualifications essential with work experience and clean driving licence are required.

YOUTH WORKER (PART TIME)

 

SALARY GRADE JNC 3 (£18,117 pro rata, £9.42per hour)

 

Do you want to work with Children & Young People with additional needs as we are looking for a part time (3 hours per week, with an opportunity to increase) conscientious, Youth Worker to support our Youth Team Leader delivering the existing successful Friday Night Project for children and young people with additional needs for ages 11 to 25. You will play an important role in all aspects of our work, engaging with the needs of our local community and working with families. 

 

To be sucessful in this role qualifications or work experience in this area is essential. This role requires a DBS check which the council will facilitate on behalf of the successful candidate.
