HEDGE END INDOOR BOWLS CLUB
Established since 1986, we hold sessions on Wednesday afternoons 2-4pm, Wednesday and Sunday evenings 7.30-9.30pm in the Village Hall, St Johns Road. If you are recently retired or just need to get out for a few hours and have a bit of fun/exercise why not come along and have a go?
We offer 3 free taster sessions per person with bowls for your use.
New members are always welcome and you will be given lots of encouragement if you have never bowled before. For the seasoned bowler we play against other local clubs as well as running our own internal competitions throughout the year.

STEADY & STRONG CLASSES
By preventing falls, older people’s chances of staying independent at home are significantly increased and they can continue to live an active lifestyle.
A new class has started at the 2000 Centre in Hedge End.
Walking Netball is a slower version of the game; it is netball, but at a walking pace. The game has been designed so that anyone can play it regardless of age or fitness level.
From those who have dropped out of the sport they love due to serious injury, to those who believed they had hung up their netball trainers many years ago, it really is for everyone.

YOGA BASED PILATES CLASSES
Finish your week off with an hour of Yoga-based Pilates at Hedge End Village Hall, St Johns Road, Hedge End.
The friendly class runs from 10-11am every Monday and Friday in the Hedge End Village Hall, St John's Road, and aims to improve flexibility, balance, strength and coordination.
The price for a session is £8, pay-as-you-go, and the class is suitable for all levels of ability and all ages from 19 to 90!

KARATE 4 ADULTS
Come and learn a traditional Okinawan style of Karate in a hard-working and friendly club. Beginners are always made very welcome.
The Uechi-Ryu Karate Club is open to all ages from 16 upwards. Your first two lessons are completely free and you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
We train every Monday and Thursday evening at 8.00pm in the HEYCA.
Both men and women are encouraged to come along and try it - you will be surprised what you can achieve!

Junior parkrun at Dowd's Farm takes place most Sundays at 9.00am for ages 4 - 14 year olds. Must register first.

Laura's yoga classes are mainly all mixed level yoga classes with beginner to experienced yoga students; everyone is encouraged to work at their own level and take the options that feel great in their body.
All yoga classes are drop-ins so you don’t have to worry about booking terms or fixed classes just drop in when you can, we’d love to see you on the yoga mat. Classes do get full so it is advisable to contact Laura before attending your first yoga class.

Do you live locally and enjoy outdoor exercise?
Come join the fun at one of my Bootcamp sessions held on the Norman Rodaway Pavilion grounds, Hedge End. Sessions are run 3 times per week and are £5 each, NO booking required just turn up.
The workouts are specifically designed so all levels of fitness can take part and enjoy.
All I ask is that you bring plenty of water, wear suitable clothing for exercising, trainers you are able to run/jog in and any medication you may need. Please feel free to bring a mat or towel with you.
