PADDLING POOL - ACCESS RESTRICTED DUE TO ONGOING SOUTHERN WATER GROUNDWORKS
The paddling pool at the recreation ground (St Johns Road) is now open for the summer. However, there are restrictions in place on the recreation ground (see image). This is due to essential Southern Water sewer maintenance works, which the Town Council has had no control over.
A substantial part of the recreation ground has been fenced off and there is limited access. Please park either at the allotted car parking at Hedge End Social Club (Bursledon Road) or by using the 2000 Centre car park. PLEASE NOTE: There is NO access through the cutway by the hedge from the 2000 Centre Car Park. Instead, please use the public pavements on St Johns Road or Bursledon Road to access the paddling pool.
