The Town Council would like to inform you that the unauthorised encampment on St Johns Recreation Ground has now been dispersed as of Friday 22 May at 7.25pm and a clean-up operation will begin to bring the area back up to the standard you expect.
People are requested to avoid the area for the next 3 days in line with Covid-19 guidelines for the virus being present on hard surfaces.
We would like to thank the residents for their patience during this time and to assure you that the council will look at further measures to prevent future unauthorised access.
Council and committee meetings will be held online via Zoom. If you wish to speak at a meeting or ask a question, you should submit a request by email to the firstname.lastname@example.org including your email address up to one hour before the meeting.
