This committee is responsible for community grants and any Hedge End community group can apply to it for a grant to support their event or group.

The committee's brief has recently been extended to include community events. This interest ranges from organising events, such as the Christmas Lights 'Switch On' to cooperation with others, such as the Remembrance Day parade and service. The committee also helps others, such as Carnival and St George Fest Committees when asked.

Members of the public are encouraged to come along and take part.
