Welcome to Hedge End Town Council's Community Website!

This community website has been created to provide the residents of Hedge End with valuable information on the work being carried out by their local Town Council.

It also provides our parishioners with a list of the many public services and amenities available in the local area as well as local news, community events, sports and social clubs and other meetings that may be of interest. We also hope this website will provide non-residents with a little insight into Hedge End life and the benefits of living in this vibrant and friendly town.

We aim to continuously improve our site, so if you can't find the information you are looking for please let us know.

ADVANCED NOTIFICATION OF CLOSURE - Wed 1st February 2012

The Town Council offices and computer suite will be closed on the above mentioned date from 8.30am until Midday. Normal office hours will resume thereafter.

BURNS NIGHT SUPPER RAISES FUNDS FOR CHARITY

The annual Burns Night Supper took place last weekend on Saturday 21st January here at the 2000 Centre. We are extremely pleased to announce that the Mayor of Eastleigh Charities and Hamble Rescue Lifeboats will both receive an impressive £1307.50 each. Thank you to everyone who came along and made this such a successful evening!

HEDGE END LIBRARY - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

To increase the opening hours of Hedge End Library, we are looking for willing volunteers on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons.  Full training would be given by the Library Service. Meeting to be held at the 2000 Centre, 7pm, Tuesday 21st February for those interested. For more details...Click Here

HETC HALLS GO SOLAR!

Hedge End Town Council is doing its bit for the environment and assisting the fight against climate change by installing Solar PV (Photovoltaic) panels on all of its Community Halls in Hedge End.  Solar PV panels will enable us to generate our own renewable energy resource, reducing both our carbon footprint and combatting rising fuel prices.  Generating our own green energy supply will reduce the running costs of our community centres, which are a valuable resource for the community of Hedge End; saving us money throughout 2012 and well into the future.   
Solar PV panels were successfully installed on all HETC managed halls throughout December 2011. For more details on Solar PV Click Here
